Membership

The Pharmaceutical Product Stewardship Work Group (PPSWG) is a membership association for producers of branded and generic prescription and non-prescription pharmaceutical products and sharps. PPSWG’s mission is to provide infrastructure, guidance, and subject matter expertise to support member compliance and improve awareness of existing pharmaceutical disposal options.

MED-Project serves as the stewardship organization designated by PPSWG members to implement and operate mandated producer-funded household drugs and sharps take-back programs. MED-Project is currently the only program operator with approved drug and sharps take-back plans in all mandated jurisdictions.

To participate in a MED-Project take-back program, a company must first become a member of PPSWG. Contact PPSWG at membership@ppswg.org to learn more about becoming a member and gaining access to the services provided by MED-Project on behalf of participating producers.
